Learning How to Learn
The curriculum is not simply the formal programme of lessons, the extra dimensions of the learning of values and the development of attitudes through the relationships experienced in the wider life of the school have a powerful influence upon a child’s education. We believe that for us to be successful, we need to teach children how they learn best. In this way we will create lifelong learners who are willing to take risks and investigate outside of their learning comfort zone. It is one of our key aims to ensure our pupils are fully equipped with skills for life, teamed with high self esteem to realise future aspirations.
